Jackie Honkus, President
Jackie Honkus is a senior studying marketing with a certificate in digital media. Currently, she is a Professional Development Consultant at Pitt Business, President of EAT@Pitt, and a Marketing & Events Intern with the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership. She joined AMA to help develop her marketing skills, but fell in love with the community. She previously served as the Vice President of Regional Conference. AMA is always a highlight of her week, and she is proud of all of the accomplishments of the organization. After graduation, she plans on staying in Pittsburgh and pursuing a career in marketing and events.

Jake Roth, Vice President
Jake Roth is a Senior, studying Finance, Business Information Systems, and Supply Chain Management. He joined the American Marketing Association to make new friends and socialize with the old ones.
He loves how friendly and welcoming the club is to all of its members. Jake's goal after graduation is to find himself.

Julia DiPietro, Vice President of Public Relations
Julia DiPietro is a Senior studying Marketing, Spanish, and Entrepreneurship. She joined the American Marketing Association to learn more about her passions and meet new people. She loves seeing all of her friends every Tuesday at GBMs and participating in engaging with the guest speakers, panels, AMA alumni, and other professionals that AMA provides. After graduation Julia hopes to pursue a career in fashion and journalism.

Tyler Rudich, Co-Vice President of Consulting
Tyler Rudich is a Senior studying Marketing and Supply Chain, with a certificate in Sports Management. He joined AMA his freshman year as a way to make friends and explore passions for marketing. Looking back as a Senior, Tyler can say he successfully did both! He really does feel that one of the best things about AMA is the friends you make along the way. Post graduation Tyler is looking forward to joining Dick's Sporting Goods as a Buyer! He is incredibly excited for the future and can thank some of it in part to AMA.

Alina McMahon, Co-Vice President of Consulting
Alina is a junior marketing major minoring in film and media studies and pursuing a certificate in leadership and ethics. She is currently the advertising and business partnerships intern at PublicSource and works at feminist film organization agnès films. Alina has been involved with AMA since her freshman year when she joined the PR Committee. She’s now the co vice president of Key Creations and is excited to continue her involvement with AMA and hopefully expand the client base!

Vianne Chang, Vice President of Professional Development
Vianne is a senior majoring in Marketing and Business Info Systems with a minor in Economics and certificates of Digital Media and Business Analytics. Vianne joined Pitt AMA’s Public Relations Committee her freshman year and held the VP of Public Relations her sophomore and junior year.
Since joining Pitt AMA, Vianne has loved networking with marketing professionals and learning about various marketing industries. As the new VP of Professional Development, Vianne can’t wait to provide members with similar, yet unique professional development opportunities.
Outside of AMA, Vianne is an active member in Alpha Sigma Rho, Women in Business, and Phi Beta Lambda. Post-graduation, Vianne hopes to have a full-time job at a marketing agency.

Katie Matlaga
Katie Matlaga is AMA’s VP of Member Engagement! She is a senior studying Marketing and Business Information Systems at Pitt, and previously served as VP of Social Impact. Since sophomore year, Katie’s favorite part of AMA is getting to meet new members, and is always happy to answer questions about the organization! She interned at Ethic Advertising Agency — a guest at AMA’s Regional Conference — learning about digital advertising and strategy. After graduation, Katie hopes to use the skills gained from AMA and Pitt Business to connect people to the resources necessary to meet their goals! She can’t wait to host some fun social events for our members and plan an AMA-zing formal!

Shreya Mocherla, Vice President of Competitions
Shreya Mocherla is a Junior, majoring in Economics and Business Administration. She joined AMA as a way to get more involved on campus and get hands on experience in the marketing world. She loves how supportive everyone in the club is and how much she has gotten to learn. After graduation she hopes to pursue a career in commercial consulting on the marketing and customer side.

Ava Verrastro, Vice President of Regional Conference
Ava Verrastro is a junior studying Marketing. She is also pursuing certificates in Public & Professional Writing, Digital Media, and Entrepreneurship & Innovation. She is serving as the Vice President of the Regional Conference in AMA this year. Her favorite thing about serving in this role is collaborating with her committee. They work on designing the event, coordinating speakers, and establishing the overall logistics of the conference. AMA has offered the opportunity to meet people with similar interests, gain experience within the marketing field, and learn through hands-on activities.
