For November's #MemberInAction, meet Russ Gibbons! He has been a very important part of our Sales Competition Team, and we couldn’t be happier to have him as a part of our organization! Russ is a senior majoring in Marketing, minoring in French, with a certificate in Business Analytics. He’s also the president of @pittracquetball!
For this month's #MembersInAction, we recognize Maddie and Minna because two October Members of the Month is better than one! Pitt AMA would not be the same without Maddie and Minna and their commitment to our organization. Maddie is a junior majoring in Marketing with a certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Her hobbies include dancing, spending way too much time on Instagram, and trying new restaurants around Pittsburgh! Minna is a transfer student, this year being her first year at Pitt! She is a junior majoring in Marketing with a focus in Fundraising Management. After college, she wants to work for a non-profit, helping children in foster care. In her free time, she likes exploring Pittsburgh, finding new places to eat, and going to football games!
Welcome to our new series #MembersInAction! We can’t wait to share the amazing internships and experiences our members are taking part in. First up, meet Kyle Leonard! He is a junior majoring in Marketing and Finance. Kyle is a @pitt_athletics Marketing Intern for the wrestling team. As a Marketing Intern, he conducts research on wrestling to fully understand the Division I athletic program, attends most Pitt Athletics sporting events to help execute promotional activities, and increases attendance and retention by planning fun events – all while getting to wear a nice Pitt Athletics polo! Kyle’s advice for anyone taking up an internship is to understand that you are there to solve a problem, not just fill a role. Research your position a lot and execute it!
